Hi. My name’s Tom: doting dad, ageing goalkeeper, plodding jogger, ukulele hero, and freelance writer about all things foreign exchange and international payments – which is why you have found your way to thecurrencyguy.co.uk.
To the layman, exchange rates and the markets that determine them appear shrouded in mystery – a perplexing place where unknown forces pull their value back and forth. I’m here to reassure you that you don’t need to be an economist, market analyst or forex trader to successfully manage these currency market movements – and take control of your international payments.
For more than ten years I’ve been creating compelling content – both in-house as a copywriter at two major currency brokers and as a freelancer – that demystifies exchange rate uncertainty, providing clarity for anyone who’s transferring their hard-earned money overseas.
